Logan's super weightloss program

Well, the monkey brains haven't completely turned me into a monkey, and I still have to deal with human issues, like baby fat. I decided to get rid of my baby fat.
I did it with a healthy diet.
Eat vegatables?! Phooey!

Chocolate is good for the body.

Marshmellows are a vegatable I think.

Donuts are great for your abs.

Well, some fruit is okay.

Blocks may taste good, but don't provide much nutritional value.

I also added some exercises to my daily life.
This cart I'm pushing around weighs about 450 pounds..

Sometimes Daddy would exercise with me at the park.
This exercise machine was moving at 28,543.98 miles per hour!

Drums are a good exercise too.
Right now I'm playing Motorbreath by Metallica.

You need to be careful when lifting weights though. Once time I was benchpressing 1,028 pounds and the barbell snapped in half. The plates fell on my head and I got cut. I had to finish my workout with Daddy's car.
No pain, no gain!

It's also important to stay properly hydrated, so drink plenty of fluids.
Gulp!

Refreshing!

Just look at the change in my physical appearance.

Impressive!

Bye bye for now.

I have teeth!

Well, actually, it's just a tooth, but it looks like a monkey tooth. I wonder if it has anything to do with the transplant. In two weeks, my monkey cranium (yeah, that's a big word for a little guy, that I know since I got the monkey brains) will be firm enough to support swinging through trees, flinging poo and all that stuff.

I already figured out how to stand up. I guess this is how monkeys stand up, but I'm not sure.
I will fling poo moments after this photo is taken...not really.

One thing with these new brains is that I'm much more observant. I noticed that daddy has been working a lot this week. When he gets home he's tired and sleepy, like me sometimes.
We both work so hard for the money, so you better treat us right!

Daddy doesn't like the islanders! That tee shirt was free at an islanders game so he wear it sometimes.

I still call him "Momma" though, just to keep him wondering if I really know if he's my people. (I do know he is.)

One thing about the monkey brains is that I can fit in with monkeys, of course. Look at me whoopin' up this monkey.
I win monkey!

Still winning.

And I can climb around like a monkey!
I climbed here by myself.

Bye bye for now, I love you!

Semi-annual report

Hey there,
When I was recently just chilling out, I reflected on my first six months or so around this place.
Word up.

And now that I've been around for more than half a year, I figured I'd give you my take of things. I was a little guy once.
Little guy

Here's me in the same chair blue bouncy seat.
Same seat, seriously.

When I was born, it was cold, now it's hot. What's that all about? I need to get down into my diapers just to cool off.
Airing out my butt.

I learned that things don't always taste good, but, for some reason, I always want to put them in my mouth,
Mmmmmm

but I guess some things I'm supposed to put in my mouth.
My gums feel kinda tender

Now I know what it means when Mommy says Grammy is coming over.
Oh no!

I figured out that sometimes I get put into baby jail,
Swing lo, sweet chariot...

and that grass really isn't all that bad,
Take me down to the paradise city...

And sometimes, you just need a nap, no matter what you think you should be doing instead.
Zzzzzzzzz

Bye bye for now, I love you!

Where have I been?

Here I am!
Hi again.

It's been a busy month since Easter. Sorry I haven't posted, believe me, I'm sad about it too.
Waaahh wahhh...

It's been only a month, but I've done so many things in that time.

I figured out how to eat cereal now. I even sit at the dining room table.
I'm a big boy now.

I like peaches in my oatmeal too!

Yummy stuff. No wonder I'm getting so chubby.

Still working on using the spoon.

Also, Uncle Dave was in town because I got baptized. I had to wear a dorky white suit, but it was still nice.
My hat was dorky too.

They were a lot of people there, and I'm glad I got to see all of you. Thanks for coming.

While he was in town, Uncle Dave and I played a lot. Once he left I got to catch up on some sleep, so I slept all the way until 8:45 in the morning. I went to bed at 8:30 the previous day! That's a lot of sleep.
I woke up when Mommy came in my room.

It was fun playing with Uncle Dave, but also nice when we just lounged around.
Whatever...

Also last month, Mommy and I went to visit my Paw Steve at his work. He fixes airplanes, like this one here:
This is Dolly Parton's personal jet.
It's sad because it's broken.

All the people there thought I was cute, and rightly so, because I am. Mostly, they were just sitting around drinking coffee. Unfortunately, I didn't get to meet the test pilot. She had the day off to get a new hair-do. See:
The shades compliment the new hair-do nicely.

Also, Mommy, Grammy and I met Daddy for lunch near his work one day last week. We had a picnic.
Watermelon sure is wet.

That's the Bronson Pinchot Sycamore behind me. Go Belky!

When we got home, I was so hot, so I just hung out in my undies.
Ahhh...cooling off.

Then, just yesterday, I managed to move myself forward on the floor. Daddy figured I inched forward about 18" to 24". I was pretty tired afterwards. That's a lot of work for a 4½ month old.

Here's where I started:
Tummy time, with a new twist.

And here's where I ended up:
Wow, I'm tired.

Seriously, I moved myself that far, with no help from Mommy, Daddy, or anyone else. (Well, Mommy provided some encouraging words, but no other help.) Daddy says it won't be too much longer until I'm mowing the lawn. I can't wait!

Bye bye for now, I love you!
